Jog Falls In Karnataka

Jog Falls, Gerosoppa Falls or Joga Falls is the second most elevated dive waterfall in India situated close Sagara taluk, Shimoga area in the territory of Karnataka. It is a divided waterfall which, contingent upon rain and season, turns into a dive waterfall. 

The falls are a noteworthy vacation spot and is positioned thirteenth on the planet by the waterfall database. They are otherwise called the Gersoppa Falls or Jogada Gundi. Jog Falls is made by the Sharavathi River dropping 253 m (830 ft), making it the second-most noteworthy dive waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls with a drop of 335 m (1100 ft) in Meghalaya.
