Kolar Karnataka

Kolar is a locale in the condition of Karnataka, India. Kolar is the locale home office. Situated in southern Karnataka, it is the state’s easternmost region. 

The locale is encompassed by the Bangalore Rural area on the west, Chikballapur region on the north, the Chittoor region of Andhra Pradesh on the east and the Krishnagiri and Vellore regions of Tamil Nadu on the south. 

Kolar, in the past known as Kolahala, Kuvalala and Kolala, was called Kolahalapura amid the Middle Ages. In Kannada, kolahahapura signifies “vicious city” and it was the combat zone for the warring Chalukyas in the north and the Cholas in the south. Because of the disclosure of the Kolar Gold Fields, the area has turned out to be known as the “Brilliant Land” of India.
