Munroe Island, Kollam

Munroe Island or Mundrothuruthu is an inland island situated at the conjunction of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, in Kollam region, Kerala, South India. The island, available by street, rail and inland water route, is around 25 kilometers (16 mi) from Kollam by street, 38 kilometers (24 mi) north from Paravur, 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) west from Kundara and around 25 kilometers (16 mi) from Karunagapally.
