Sarnath Uttar Pradesh

Sarnath is a city found 13 kilometers north-east of Varanasi close to the juncture of the Ganges and the Varuna streams in Uttar Pradesh, India. 

The deer stop in Sarnath is the place Gautama Buddha initially instructed the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha appeared through the edification of Kondanna. 

Singhpur, a town around one kilometer far from the site, was the origination of Shreyansanath, the Eleventh Tirthankara of Jainism, and a sanctuary committed to him, is a vital journey site.
