Kānchipuram Tamil Nadu

Kānchipuram an also called Kānchi is a city/town in the Indian territory of Tamil Nadu, 72 km (45 mi) from Chennai – the capital of Tamil Nadu. The towns covers a territory of 11.605 km2 (4.481 sq mi) and had a populace of 164,265 of every 2001. It is the authoritative base camp of Kanchipuram District.

Kanchipuram is very much associated by street and rail. Chennai International Airport is the closest household and worldwide airplane terminal to the town, which is situated at Tirusulam in Kanchipuram region.
