Kalpetta is a town in the precipitous Wayanad area of Kerala, South India. It’s a passage to the trails of grand Chembra Peak and to Neelimala Viewpoint, which ignores waterfalls and forested valleys.
North of town, the conventional, Dravidian-style Ananthanatha Swami Jain Temple is roosted on a peak encompassed by espresso manors. Toward the southeast, Meppadi is a grand town with lavish tea homes.
