Panaji, otherwise called Panjim, is the state capital of Goa, in southwest India. Situated on the banks of the Mandovi River, the city has cobblestone boulevards fixed with structures from the Portuguese frontier period and bright estates.
Set on a slope sitting above the city is the elaborate Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, worked in 1619. Palm-bordered Miramar Beach sits at the conversion of the stream and Arabian Sea.
