Medak Telangana

Medak is a town in Medak region of the Indian province of Telangana. It is a region and the home office of Medak mandal in Medak income division. Medak region was framed in the year 1953. 

It is spread over a territory of 22.00 km2 (8.49 sq mi). Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is a woodland and natural life haven named for the adjacent Pocharam Lake. 

Medak Cathedral sees over the Diocese of Medak, the single biggest bishopric in Asia. Medak Fort is a mainstream vacation spot. The stronghold was initially built by the Kakatiya rulers and later created by the Qutb Shahi lords. Old sanctuary of Kuchadri Venkateshwara Swamy at Kuchanpally is an adjacent Hindu love focus.
