Chidambaram Tamil Nadu

Chidambaram is a town and region in Cuddalore locale in the Indian territory of Tamil Nadu. It is the home office of the Chidambaram taluk. The town is accepted to be of noteworthy vestige and has been ruled, at various circumstances, by the Medieval Cholas, Later Cholas, Later Pandyas, Vijayanagar Empire, Marathas and the British. 

Chidambaram covers a range of 4.8 km2 (1.9 sq mi) and had a populace of 62,153 starting at 2011. It is directed by a first-grade region. Teritiary segment including tourism is the significant occupation.
