Nubra Valley

Nubra is a tri-furnished valley situated toward the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is around 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh area, India. Nearby researchers say that its unique name was Ldumra (the valley of blooms). 
The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to frame a huge valley that isolates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok stream is a tributary of the Indus waterway. The normal height of the valley is around 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 meters over the ocean level.
