Nishat Bagh

Nishat Bagh, arranged on the eastern shore of the charming Dal Lake, is a lovely terraced plant with the Zabarwan extends as its picturesque setting. 

Covering a range of 46 sections of land, it is Kashmir's second biggest Mughal Garden, alongside the Shalimar Bagh arranged adjacent. Its name means 'garden of delight', which is supported by its captivating regular magnificence. 

The garden was implicit 1633 under the support of Asif Khan – the senior sibling of Mughal sovereign Nur Jahan. Its structure comprises of 12 patios, which speak to an equivalent number of zodiac signs. Tall chinar trees and vivid blooms enhance the lavish green scene of this garden likewise has a few wonderful wellsprings. There is a rectangular pool in its middle that has been shaped by cutting down a mountain spring from a 15-feet high slide.
