Howrah West Bengal

Howrah or Haora is a modern city, a metropolitan enterprise in the Howrah area, West Bengal, India. It is the central command of the area, and of the Howrah Sadar subdivision of the locale. Situated on the west bank of the Hoogli River, it is a twin city to Kolkata. Howrah is the second littlest locale after Kolkata.

The two urban communities are associated by four extensions on the stream Ganges, these being the Howrah Bridge , the Vidyasagar Setu (otherwise called the second Hooghly Bridge), the Vivekananda Setu (otherwise called Bally Bridge), the Nivedita Setu (otherwise called Second Vivekananda Setu) and ship benefits between different breakwaters.
