The Great Himalayan National Park

Encompassed on three sides by towering Himalayan Mountains, the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) has a portion of the densest populace of Himalayan untamed life species. Found 50 km from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, GHNP was implicit 1984 and is spread more than 755 sq km. In 1999, it was agreed the status of a national park. It gloats of more than 375 fauna species, including 31 types of vertebrates and 181 types of winged animals. The fauna of the recreation center incorporates probably the most fascinating types of creatures like snow panther, blue sheep, Himalayan chestnut bear, Himalayan tahr, musk deer, goral and numerous others.

A noteworthy wellspring of water for the neighboring areas, the recreation center has Beas, Sainj, Jiwa and Tirthan streams moving through it.
